Henry 30 30 Vs Marlin 30 30

I m familiar with the 336 and like it but would like to hear your thoughts about a comparison with the henry which i ve never owned shot.

Here we compared both brands to identify the better rifles. Also have a 1978 marlin 30 30. Sorry that wasn t very tl dr but hope it helps narrow down the general consensus. Joekan the lord s servant.

That is very interesting. I can t quit the idea of the marlin but i think i m going to but a 336 30 30 down the road for bear protection and look for an all weather big boy as my 357. I m going to buy either a marlin 336 or a henry 30 30. Best bow press 2020 reviews buyer s guide.

There seems to be a lot of debate within the 30 30 community about whether the henry rifle is better than the marlin. In my little experience with the marlin 336c 30 30 it performed just as well as the henry model. The henry 30 30 action is a slicked up version of the marlin 336 type. I have to admit to checking out the ruger 77 357 bolt gun just a bit.
