I Don T Like My Friends Anymore

I finished my 4th year of school in april and i m one of the very few who did.

You are simply being aware of the energy shifting and fading away. And you have to know when to end a friendship. I cut off 95 of my friends the past few years because most of them just didn t want to be friends. You don t like what they re doing the choices they re making the other people they hang out with or how they treat you.

Hello this sounds awful but i don t actually like my best friend anymore. It doesn t have to happen abruptly. But my old friends took my friendship for granted and at the end of the day they would just say love you too when they knew i wasn t having fun and that would be that. In the time we ve known each other we ve both changed a lot.

I just realised that we don t really have much in common anymore and i don t feel like i get much out of the relationship. She s always been sort of weird but sometimes i just can t stand it. I got hired right away from a excellent company and summer was a blast. I no longer wanted to see almost all my friends anymore.

I ve never been close to anyone as i am with her and i like that. It sucks i don t hang out anymore but i got way closer to my girlfriend. At the beginning of school i left some other friends to be with these people and my old friends wouldn t ever accept me back into their group and i m not keen on coming back to them because they didn t treat me very well. I just don t click with her at all.

I m 28f and we ve been friends for around 8 years. If i win something it s no big deal but when she does she rubs it in my face. If you don t like your friends anymore then you don t like them. Lately my friend has just been so aggravating.

You ve called them your best friend maybe even your best friend forever and you re still pretty close but sometimes you feel like you ve grown apart. Now i don t know how to say it other. I don t really like my friend anymore. She s also very competitive.

You aren t abandoning your friends. We ve been best friends since year 7 and even live with each other at university and honestly that was not a choice i was meant to get into somewhere else but didn t. And probably the most annoying of it all she. Which is a lot because i stayed in contact with many people from high school since i went to my local university.

I don t have any close platonic friends though which isn t the best situation to be in.
